WHAT THEY NEEDED:
mySTEMtutor.com offers in-person, one-on-one Math and Science tutoring in cities across America. As a new player in the field, they were looking to establish credibility for their tutoring method with parents. The company also needed a presentation to communicate the viability of its business model to potential investors.
WHAT I DID:
I developed a wide range of high-quality content that achieved three aims: 1) show why Math is the key to better careers; 2) demonstrate why tutoring works; and 3) give parents tools for understanding the challenges their school-age children face. I wrote on a wide variety of topics that included STEM-related careers, learning disabilities, Math heroes, the physics of sports, Math paradoxes, and local information of interest. I also developed a free 30-page guide for parents, creative consultation on the mobile app, and investor presentations. Consumer adoption spiked through social media advertising, dramatically reducing Cost to Acquire Consumer (CAC).
